NyE Communities Coalition Nye Communities Coalition offers employment, internships and training services, coaching and financial support for young adults aged 16 to 24 years.
Western Region Public Health Training Center (WRPHTC) The WRPHTC awards stipends to public health students completing public health projects and internships. Stipends are commonly given to students completing unpaid internships and are not provided as a condition of employment, or for tuition, fees, health insurance, or other costs.

CDC Foundation The CDC Foundation Internship Program offers educational work opportunities to students in undergraduate and graduate programs across a variety of fields (public health, communications, public administration, advancement and fundraising, internal operations, etc.).
Nevada Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) The mission of the Nevada AHEC Program is to enhance healthcare access and outcomes for rural and underserved communities through comprehensive education, training, and workforce development initiatives. Nevada AHEC programs target youth as early as 5th grade upwards to students in the college and/or professional level. Learn more about each of the centers and their programs below:

Nevada Hospital Association The NHA is a not-for-profit statewide resource and leader in promoting public understanding of, and support for, the healthcare system serving Nevada’s communities. The NHA serves as an advocate for its members to lead in the provision of high quality, affordable and accessible healthcare services, resulting in healthier Nevada communities. Their membership program provides education, information and representation, serving as a catalyst in collaborative efforts to produce quality healthcare in Nevada.
Nevada INBRE Nevada INBRE has a successful and popular Biomedical Students Pipeline Program to prepare students, primarily at undergraduate institutions, for transition to four-year research institutions and graduate school.  Currently, INBRE funds programs at Truckee Meadows Community College, College of Southern Nevada, Nevada State College, Great Basin College, Sierra Nevada College, and Western Nevada College. INBRE will continue to fund undergraduate research opportunities by putting students in research labs and providing critical hands-on research experience. These experiences inspire students to pursue research careers. 
Northern Nevada Hopes Northern Nevada Hopes provides internship opportunities within its program areas including housing, teen health, harm reduction and LGBTQ support. 
Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD)SNHD offers a variety of learning opportunities for students and guides prospective research investigators in research opportunities. To be considered, students must receive academic credit through an affiliated institution, submit a complete application, and complete online trainings. All students are subject to an interview and will be notified of placement or non-placement. 
Office of Statewide Initiatives, UNR School of Medicine The Office of Statewide Initiatives provides education, support, and professional development opportunities focused on increasing access to health care, social services, and improving community wellness. 
Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH)Northern Nevada Public Health’s internship program (previously known as Washoe County Health District) provides students with experience in progressive government within their academic programs. Interns carry out research and analysis projects on a wide range of issues under the direction of senior staff members. NNPH interns are encouraged and expected to inquire into important issues, initiate improvements, and suggest new approaches and directions.
