Salary Range

Required Experience
- A minimum education with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, public or community relations, communications or closely related field. Duration: ~4 years
- To qualify as a Public Officer I, two years of professional experience in public relations or public information which includes writing media releases and newsletters, preparing speeches and multimedia presentations.
- To advance to a Public Officer II, three years of professional experience in administering or directing a public information program which includes writing media releases and newsletters, preparing and presenting speeches and multimedia presentations, independent media contact, development of public relations strategies and journalistic writing.
