Educational Requirements
- A minimum education with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field Duration: ~4 years.
- For an IT Professional I and II positions, one to four years of professional IT experience relevant to the duties of the position is necessary. This experience may include computer operations, systems administration, network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, and/or information security.
- To become an IT Professional III and IV, three to five years of progressively responsible IT experience is required, with at least two years at the advanced journey level or in a supervisory or project management capacity.
