Salary Range


  • $58,000 – $75,000/ year

Required Experience


  • A minimum education required is a bachelor’s degree  in public health, human services, social science, behavioral science or related field.
  • To be a Health Program Manager I, three years of health-related professional experience, one year of which is supervisory and includes providing or coordinating the delivery of health care services, budget monitoring, and interpretation of regulations, policies and directives related to health care delivery systems.
  • As a Health Program Manager II, Four years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a health-related field, two years of which includes providing or coordinating the delivery of health care services, budget preparation and control, and the interpretation and implementation of complex regulations. Of the two years of experience, one year must include supervision of professional staff
  • To advance as a Health Program Manager III, five years of increasingly responsible professional experience in a health-related field, three years of which includes budget preparation and control, program planning and evaluation, and interpretation and implementation of complex regulations. Of the three years of experience, two years must include supervision of professional staff.
