Required Experience
- A minimum education with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood development, education, social work or closely related field Duration: ~4 years.
- As a Child Care Facilities Surveyor Trainee, one year of paraprofessional experience providing developmental or educational services to children in an early childhood program, including assisting with program administration responsibilities, is required.
- To be a Child Care Facilities Surveyor, one year of professional experience evaluating child development or early childhood education programs is necessary.
- To be a Child Care Facilities Surveyor Supervisor, two years of continued professional experience.
- To advance as a Child Care Facilities Surveyor Manager, three years of progressive professional experience.
