Salary Range
- $69,000 – $146,000/ year
Education & Timeframe
- Start Your Journey: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field Duration: ~4 years
- Advance Your Expertise: Master’s Degree in Child and Adolescent Psychology Duration: ~2-3 years
- Pursue Higher Education: Doctorate Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Child and Adolescent Psychology from an accredited institution Duration: ~4-7 years
- Gain Experience: Complete a postdoctoral fellowship or supervised practice to gain specialized training and experience in child and adolescent mental health care. Stay current with the latest research, therapeutic techniques, and patient care practices.
