Education & Timeframe
- Start Your Journey: High School Diploma or equivalent; One year of experience in stocking, shipping, issuing and receiving materials in a retail, storeroom or warehouse environment
- Relevant Experience: Two to three years of experience to become an Supply Tech I and Supply Tech II which includes purchasing a variety of supplies, equipment and materials; maintaining inventory records; inventory storage and handling; and shipping and receiving materials and equipment
- Advanced Experience: Four to five years of relevant work experience to become a Supply Tech III and IV which includes developing delivery schedules for materials and equipment, supervising subordinate staff, budget record maintenance, maintaining computerized inventory records, training staff on computerized inventory systems
