Salary Range


  • $37,000 – $70,000/ year

Required Experience


  • A minimum education with a high school diploma or equivalent
  • To qualify as an IT Technician Trainee requires one year of experience utilizing the fundamentals of typical computer systems, operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
  • As an IT Technician II and III, three to four years of progressively responsible in addition to two years of which includes IT work experience in a user support role.
  • To advance to an IT Technician IV, three to five years of progressive professional experience is required.
  • In addition to: IT Technician V and VI -Network Operations and Support, two years of IT work experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of network workstation hardware and software; or a IT Technician Supervisor- Network Operations and Support, four years advanced level tasks such as assisting with planning and installing network infrastructure.
